JOY Academy of Southern Nevada is recognized by the IRS as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Code. Contributions to JOY Academy are deductible under section 170 of the Code. JOY Academy is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devices, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the Code.
JOY Academy of Southern Nevada is operated as an exempt school under the provision of NRS 394.211 and as such is exempt from the provisions of the Private Elementary and Secondary Education Authorization Act.
