Parents who volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month can receive a tuition discount of up to $500. (No Parent Volunteer discounts for part-time, Kindergarten, or High School)
Parents are encouraged to volunteer time and resources as they are able. Volunteers will be asked to help fund and support JOY Academy through the following committees or activities:

- Fundraising – being on the committee and/or participating in writing grants, seeking donations from businesses and individuals interested in supporting our goal of educating children to be lifelong, self-directed learners.
- Field Trips/Activities – coordinating monthly, outside/off-campus learning activities and guest speakers.
- Giving of your time to:
- Assist a teacher inside the classroom, or outside the classroom preparing materials.
- Be a TEAM Leader 1 – 2 times a week, for 1 hour on your Team’s day.
- Assist in custodial duties – daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Assist the Office Leader – answering the phone, preparing materials, etc.
